Fingal County Council Announces Recipients of 2025 Fingal Artists’ Support Scheme

Fingal County Council Arts Office is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Fingal Artists’ Support Scheme. A total of €250,000 has been awarded to professional artists working across music, visual art, drama, literature, film and dance, to support travel and professional development opportunities, residencies, and the development of new work.
Now in its tenth year, the Fingal Artists’ Support Scheme is a key funding strand within Fingal’s commitment to supporting professional artists at all career stages. The Scheme is designed to nurture the practice of individual artists living in or connected to Fingal, recognising the vital role they play in shaping a vibrant and diverse cultural landscape.
The 2025 scheme attracted a record number of applications; 305 applications were assessed by an independent panel of artform-specific advisers, a 58% increase since 2022. 29% of applicants were successful, following a competitive and rigorous selection process.

We’re proud to support Fingal artists as they develop their practice, locally, nationally and internationally.”
Mina Eusebio, added “I am grateful and honoured to be one of the recipients of Fingal Artists Support Scheme for 2025. As a narrator that uses music as their primary medium, I aim to capture the feeling of stories through sound. This grant will allow me to explore and workshop avenues for sonic expansion, collaborating with various musicians and sound engineer Ben Rawlins, to inform the increasingly expansive direction of my new compositions.”

Mina Eusebio (she/they) is a musician and artist with a focus on amplifying underrepresented voices in the creative spaces of Ireland. They have recently obtained a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Musicology at TU Dublin Conservatoire. They are active as a conductor, artistic director, researcher, composer, and performer. Mina is the founder and Creative Director of Swords Youth Choir and has sung with renowned ensembles including New Dublin Voices, Irish Youth Choir, and TU Dublin Chamber Choir, performing locally and internationally. They have also been featured in prestigious showcases such as Hot Press' 'Young and Emerging' series and Whelan's 'Ones To Watch 2024'.
Síomha McQuinn is an actor, writer and director from Dublin who has performed her work as part of Edinburgh and Dublin Fringe Festival. She participated in axis Ballymun's 'Assemble' programme in 2024 and the Abbey Theatre’s inaugural ‘Box of Tricks’ scheme. She has a background in improv and stand up comedy and is currently developing a TV series under the X-Pollinator ‘Incubator’ initiative.
Caitríona O’Leary is known internationally for her intense and passionate performances of Early Music and Traditional Irish song & as a composer and has been widely acknowledged for her work in finding and performing lost or rarely-heard Irish music. Her recording The Wexford Carols, featuring guest artists Tom Jones, Rosanne Cash, & Rhiannon Giddens, reached #1 on the Billboard and Amazon charts. Her album with Anakronos, The Red Book of Ossory, was released worldwide in 2020 to rave reviews.
