Do Not Swim Notice in place for Rush South Beach

Following a late night incident report from Uisce Éireann on Sunday 19th July, the HSE has determined to place a "Do Not Swim" Prohibition Notice at Rush South Beach as a precautionary measure to protect public health, including the placement of signage at South beach. This measure is in place for 4 days. Resampling to be arranged.

While the beach is still open to the public, beach users are asked to respect the ‘Do Not Swim’ notice as it has been put in place to ensure that the health of bathers is not compromised.

Members of the public can check for water quality at any of the monitored bathing waters in Ireland in advance by accessing the EPA website at https://www.beaches.ie/ or by checking the notice board at the entrance to each beach.
