ANCA has published the 2025 aircraft noise contours for Dublin Airport. The contours present the annual average aircraft noise levels in a standardised European format for both the night-time and the full 24-hour periods of the year.
These contours permit the noise levels to be compared across a three-year period to examine how the noise climate changes over time. Long term exposure to environmental noise is a significant contributor to adverse health outcomes and annual contours facilitate the development of targeted measures and monitoring of progress for reducing exposure to aircraft noise.
Noise monitors present the impact of individual aircraft events at the measuring stations located in the communities around the airport. This data is available on the Dublin Airport website.
