Ballough Place Artist Residential Studio
We are delighted to announce design team, Beet, Woad and Rust have been commissioned to design and implement a creative, functional interior fit-out for a Fingal County Council Per Cent for Art Commission for a newly constructed residential artist studio in Lusk.
Ballough Place Residential Artist Studio aims to provide professional artists with the space and support needed to live and develop their creative practice. The residential artist studio, which is part of a new housing development, is a pioneering initiative by Fingal County Council to provide a secure, high quality live/workspace for a professional visual artist.
As part of the commission, Beet, Woad & Rust will also facilitate a series of workshops for members of the local community, who will have the opportunity to collaboratively produce bespoke furniture for the studio.
