Report on the effectiveness of noise mitigation measures at Dublin Airport for 2025
A report by ANCA on the effectiveness of the noise mitigation measures in place at Dublin Airport during 2025 is now available.
Noise is unwanted or excessive levels of sound that may have an adverse effect on health and wellbeing. Long term exposure to harmful levels of environmental is associated with significant adverse health outcomes and reducing noise pollution must be prioritised to improve health and quality of life.
The 2025 report details the performance of the measures in place at Dublin Airport to manage the impact of aircraft noise in the context of the noise management objectives. Additional information is included on the scale and time of aircraft activity and the evolution of the noise climate for the different periods of the day as averaged across the full year.
