Festival in a Van and Fingal County Council are delighted to announce the return of Fingal Sounds of Summer, a vibrant touring programme of live music and performance visiting communities across Fingal this July.
Running over two weekends from 10–19 July 2026, the tour will bring Festival in a Van’s mobile stage to libraries, parks, estates, youth facilities, community centres and residential settings throughout the county, transforming everyday spaces into welcoming hubs of music, creativity and celebration.
Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Tony Murphy said:
“This is a brilliant initiative that brings the energy of live performance straight into communities across Fingal. It offers a great chance for people of all ages to connect and enjoy creativity and culture on their own doorstep, highlighting music, dance and spoken word in places that larger festivals don’t always reach.”
Creative Ireland Co-ordinator for Fingal County Council, Patricia Brady said:
“Creative Fingal are excited to partner with Festival in a Van, to bring this unique mix of music and entertainment to local communities and groups throughout Fingal.”

“The Community Development and Inclusion Division is delighted to support 'Sounds of Summer' once again this year, building on the strong success of inclusive gigs and events delivered last year. This initiative reaches communities across Fingal in a way that few other programmes can, creating meaningful opportunities for engagement over the summer months. It also supports our Community Development Teams in connecting with our diverse communities in accessible and creative ways.”

It’s about people gathering together, discovering new music and celebrating the richness and diversity of Fingal.”
