Bodhrán Making Workshop

Join us in the outdoor covered courtyard of The Seamus Ennis Arts Centre for a hands-on bodhrán‑making workshop facilitated by Cliste. Participants will craft their own bodhrán entirely from scratch, working with raw materials including the frame, goatskin, crossbars, and tacks. They will then personalise their instrument by decorating it with a design of their choice.The workshop will conclude with a lively lesson on how to play along to lively reels and jigs. This workshop will blend, craftmanship, creativity and tradition, ensuring that everybody leaves with both a handmade instrument and the skills to play it. 

Suitable for age 10+.
