SCQ / Public Realm
The Public Realm works are a key component of the emerging Swords Cultural Quarter. These works include upgraded streets, landscaping, lighting and a new events space creating a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly civic space for residents and visitors.

21st September
Bus stops and pedestrian crossing have now reopened on Main Street outside the castle. Works are continuing North Street. Traffic remains one way northbound only with no through route from North Street to Main Street. To facilitate the next phase of works, from Monday 21st September, 6 parking spaces along the westside of North Street between Hyper Goat Coffee and Meta Hair will be temporarily suspended for 5 weeks. All business remain open during this time.
