Prior Warning Notice for Balbriggan and Portmarnock June 2026

Fingal County Council has issued a Prior Warning Notice for Front Strand beach, Balbriggan and Velvet Strand beach, Portmarnock due to forecasted heavy rainfall.

 It will come into effect from 05 June for 5 days.

While the beach is still open, this precautionary measure is being taken due to the potential impact of forecasted weather conditions on bathing water quality.
