Prior warnings for Balbriggan and Portmarnock beaches removed

Following samples taken on Monday 8 June 2026 at Balbriggan and Portmarnock beaches,the water quality at both beaches has been classified as "Excellent" in line with the applicable water quality standards.

Based on these results, the prior warnings issued for Balbriggan and Portmarnock on 5 June 2026 have been removed.

Further to this, the next round of sampling is scheduled for Monday, 15.06.2026, covering the 10 designated beaches and Malahide.
