Festival Season Arrives at Malahide Castle & Gardens
Festival season has arrived, and Malahide Castle & Gardens is preparing to welcome thousands of music fans to its historic castle grounds and once again transform into a world-class outdoor stage for a remarkable summer of live music.
This year’s exciting lineup includes:
- Wednesday, June 10 – Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds
- Saturday, June 13 – Kingfishr
- Saturday, June 20 – Kodaline
- Tuesday, June 23 – Teddy Swims
- Wednesday, June 24 – Katy Perry
- Saturday, June 27 – Michael Bublé
- Sunday, June 28 – Calvin Harris
- Tuesday, June 30 – Maroon 5
With many fans already counting down to sing along to their favourite acts, Fingal County Council is encouraging everyone to plan ahead to ensure a safe, smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
Attendees are advised to use public transport wherever possible/ there are excellent transport links via DARTS and bus services bringing visitors into the Malahide village, with a short walk from there to Malahide Castle, where the concerts are all taking place. Those travelling locally or from nearby towns are encouraged to walk or cycle where feasible.
Private coaches are also available and should be pre-booked in advance. For those travelling by car, consider carpooling with friends and try to book parking in advanced to help manage demand and reduce congestion.
Visitors can arrive early and enjoy everything Malahide has to offer. The village cafés, restaurants, pubs and local businesses will remain open for business throughout the concert series, and visitors are encouraged are invited to support local traders before and after each show.
With large crowds expected, concert-goers are reminded to be considerate of the local community and to act responsibly at all times. Attendees are asked to respect local residents and their community by not engaging in any anti-social behaviour, respect the property and privacy of local residents and do not park illegally in areas surrounding Malahide Castle, in local estates or outside private residences.
