Fingal Secure Bike Week 2026 funding from NTA

The National Transport Authority has awarded €16,522 in funding for Bike Week 2026 activities to Fingal County Council.

Bike Week is a week-long celebration of the benefits of cycling. Bike Week 2026 will take place from Saturday 9th to Sunday 17th May. Fingal County Council’s Active Travel unit will offer a variety of events throughout the County for every age group.

David Storey, Director of Services for Environment, Climate Action, Active Travel and Sport at Fingal County Council said: ‘’Bike Week is an important milestone in our Active Travel programme and we are delighted to have received this funding to facilitate a variety of events throughout the week. This support enables us to promote the many benefits of cycling and to provide opportunities for people across Fingal to enjoy safe and accessible cycling experiences.
