This project aims to provide a new upgrade to the R126 from the Donabate Distributor Road Phase 1 through to Lissenhall Junction, improving the road and safety for all users.
Why is the Scheme needed?
- To improve the existing substandard road geometry.
- A reconfigured junction at Lissenhall will improve traffic congestion for all traffic.
- To provide facilities for pedestrians, cyclists, other vulnerable road users and public transport to create a safe environment for encouraging active travel for local trips.
