Online Networking Packs a Punch for the Fingal Enterprising Women Network

Networking has always been an important aspect of business for Fingal’s enterprising women.

Networking has always been an important aspect of business for Fingal’s enterprising women. Current circumstances mean that businesses had to find innovative ways of creating and maintaining those valuable connections.

With that in mind Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Fingal has changed the Fingal Enterprising Women Network (FEWN) into an online networking event, with over 200 businesswomen coming together virtually to learn, share ideas and support each other in the first three networking sessions so far! In addition, the networking events are now being hosted on a weekly basis so that female entrepreneurs can keep in touch and support each other regularly and frequently.
At each networking session a guest speaker delivers an inspirational talk on a highly relevant topic, designed to equip and empower Fingal’s female entrepreneurs as they navigate these challenging times and seek to identify the opportunities which exist within this new landscape.
Speaking on the success of the move Oisín Geoghegan, Chair of the LEO Network and Head of Enterprise in Fingal, said: “The Local Enterprise Office Fingal is proud to provide this online networking platform for business women in Fingal and we are delighted to see it go from strength to strength as attendees feel the benefits of connecting with like-minded individuals. We want them to come away from these sessions knowing that LEO Fingal will try to ensure they can still do business, even in these challenging times ”.

FEWN Network Manager, Sharon Rossignuolo added: “I would encourage any business woman, no matter what stage she is at in her business, to come along to these events and experience the sense of belonging and community that exists in the Fingal Enterprising Women Network. Now, more than ever before, we need to expand our network so we can open ourselves up to ideas, perspectives and most importantly, to new opportunities”.

The next FEWN online Networking Event will be held on next Tuesday 12th May and places are completely free of charge for Fingal businesswomen!
