Resort Residency – Revelations Programme returns to the Donabate/Portrane Peninsula from the 8th – 10th of October. Resort Residency is Fingal County Council’s Arts Office's unique artist programme located at Lynders Mobile Home Park, Portrane.

The Commemorations Unit, Department of  Tourism, Culture Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media proudly supports the Fingal Arts Department in association with the Irish Writers Centre in the commissioning of six pieces of new writing, including monologues, short stories, poetry and prose that will not only commemorate the anniversary of the formation of the Irish State in 1921 it will also mark the 30th anniversary of the Irish Writers Centre.

The Momentum 2021 Public Arts Community Festival was launched by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Seána Ó Rodaigh. On Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th August Momentum 2021 will take place with over 100 community performers and offstage volunteers from 8 to 68+ taking part in this unique and bespoke public art event.

Fingal County Council’s Arts Office is delighted to announce a new exhibition programme which has been developed in partnership with Newbridge House, titled Guest.

This week students of Blakestown Community School proudly launched their Micro Forest of over 450 broadleaf trees on the school grounds. This beautiful concept of planting a forest outside of their art classroom was developed by artist Gareth Kennedy in partnership with woodwright Eoin Donnelly.

‘Once Upon A Sound at the Hide Sculpture’ sees acclaimed broadcaster Donal Dineen take us on a deep exploration of music in the company of some of the finest music makers in the land.
