Temporary Road Closures
It is proposed that public roads in the Skerries area will be closed for the purpose of holding the Skerries 100 – Road Race. This will be on Saturday 4 July 2026 from 12pm to 8:30pm and Sunday 5 July 2026 from 8am to 6:30pm. See 1st advert, traffic plan 1
Fingal County Council proposes to temporarily close Seatown Road from the Junction of St Columcille’s Drive/Seatown Road to the Junction of North Street/Seatown Road. (2 arms of St Columcille’s Drive/Seatown Road junction will be operational.) to facilitate construction of the Swords Cultural Quarter, Public Realm & Residential Development at Seatown,Co.Dublin. An application has been received from Triur Construction on behalf of Fingal County Council for permission to temporarily close L5166 Road, Jordanstown, Co. Dublin to facilitate bridge maintenance. It is proposed that the roads will be closed from the 29 June 2026 to 10 July 2026 for 24 hours. See 1st advert, traffic management plan
An application has been received from Fajon Construction for permission to temporarily close Station Road, Lusk, Co. Dublin to facilitate the installation of a storm water line. An application has been received from GMC Utilities Ltd on behalf of Uisce Eireann for permission to temporarily close a section of Strand Street Skerries Co. Dublin for the purpose of installing a wastewater connection. It is proposed that the road will be closed from the 15 June to 16 June 2026. See 1st advert, traffic managment plans
Fingal County Council has made an order to temporarily close Turvey Avenue, Donabate, Co. Dublin from the 2 June 2026 to 19 June 2026 for 24 hours for the purpose of facilitating road surfacing works. See 2nd advert, diversion routes.

It is proposed, in the interest of road safety, to apply a road works speed limit of a 50km/h speed limit (from 60km/h) to facilitate the R132 Connectivity Project. We are looking at the provision of traffic calming measures in Naul Village. The scheme would include ramps, road signage and road markings. You can see what's envisaged with Ad1 and Map1.
