Fingal County Council has made an Order to temporarily close Mill Street to George’s Hill junction, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin to facilitate a drinking water connection for RNLI Boathouse. It is proposed that the roads will be closed on the 13th of April 2026 from 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs. See advert 2 and traffic management plan

Fingal County Council proposes to close various roads in the Garristown area for the purpose of holding a fundraising 5km and 10km run. The period of this closure will be from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Sunday 19th April 2026. See 1st advert, traffic management plan and diversion routes.

An application has been received from GMC UTILITIES GROUP LIMITED working on  behalf of UISCE EIREANN to temporarily close Townyard Lane, Malahide, Co. Dublin The purpose of this closure is to facilitate wastewater connection works by the  junction of Townyard Lane and The Green. The period of the proposed temporary closure will be from 19:00pm Monday 13th of  April 2026 to 5:00am Tuesday 14th of April 2026. See 1st Advert.

Fingal County Council has made an Order to temporarily close Old Brazil Way/Killeek  Lane - L-7265-0, Co. Dublin to facilitate planned works for telecoms fibre installation.  It is proposed that the roads will be closed from the 23rd of March 2026 to the 25th March 2026 from 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs. Fingal County Council has made an order for the temporary road closure of a number of roads in

Fingal County Council have made an order to temporarily close L-1015 Borranstown Road,  Co. Dublin following an application from Fingal County Council. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate essential drainage and road repair work. It is proposed that the period of the proposed temporary closure will be from the 3rd of March  to the 24th of March 2026 for 24 hours. Fingal County Council Events Unit proposes to hold Saint Patrick’s Day Parades at locations across the 
county on Tuesday 17th March 2026, and to facilitate the parade routes, it is proposed to temporarily 
close a number of roads. See 1st Advert, Traffic Management Plan Swords, and Traffic Management Plan Balbriggan.

It is proposed, in the interest of road safety, to apply a road works speed limit of a 50km/h speed limit (from 60km/h) to facilitate the R132 Connectivity Project. The Road Works Speed Limit will be in effect from 1st March 2026 to 28th February 2027.  See Advert , Temporary Speed Limit Map and Site Plan

An application has been received from Donabate St Patrick’s Festival Committee for permission to temporarily close roads in the Donabate area for the purpose of facilitating a St. Patrick’s festival and parade. It is proposed that the roads will be closed from 12.30hrs to 16:30hrs on Saturday 14th of March 2026. The roads in question are: Donabate Main Street, New Road, Chapel View, The R126. An application has been received from Rush Community Council for permission to 
temporarily close roads in the Rush area for the purpose of facilitating a St. Patricks Day parade. It is proposed that the roads will be closed from 12:30hrs to 14:00hrs on Tuesday 17th of March 2026. See 1st Advert and Traffic Management Plan.

An application has been made by Fingal County Council Operation’s Department for the temporary 
closure of Main Street, Howth, Co Dublin at its junction with Tuckett’s Lane. It is proposed also 
to close Tuckett’s Lane between Main Street, Howth as far as the junction with St. Nessan’s and 
St. Lawrence Terrace. The purpose of this closure is to facilitate surface water drainage works across Main Street Howth. The period of the proposed temporary closure will be from 9.00am Monday 9th of March 2026 to  17.00 pm Friday 20th of March 2026.  See 1st Advert.

On site development works are nearing completion at Bremore Castle Car Park in Balbriggan, with 50% now open. It is expected to be fully open by the end of September 2025 month with 111 spaces. 

Road Works Speed Limit Order of 50 km/h on part of Balheary Road, Swords to facilitate the carrying out of an Active Travel Scheme. On Balheary Road to a point 600m north of its junction with the Glen Ellan Road and to a point 50m west of its junction with Balheary Road. The Road Works Speed Limit will be in effect from the 2nd of April 2025 to the 1st of April 2026. See advert and map.

We are looking at the provision of traffic calming measures in Naul Village. The scheme would include ramps, road signage and road markings. You can see what's envisaged with Ad1 and Map1.
