A number of our services can be completed over the phone, by mail or online.

Members of Fingal Libraries have free access to all our amazing online services and resources.

Members of Fingal Libraries have free access to all our amazing online services and resources.  We offer digital newspapers, magazines, comics, music streaming, ebooks, eaudiobooks, touch typing, educational course and so much more.

•             BorrowBox: eBooks and eAudiobooks

•             Download the BorrowBox app on your device or go to 

•             Choose your library from the dropdown menu; in this case it will be Dublin - Fingal

•             Half way down the new box, click on ebooks and eaudiobooks Sign in with your library card number and PIN.

•             On your first visit, register your email address.  Subsequently, you only need your library card number and PIN.

•             Borrow up to 5 ebooks and 5 eaudiobooks at a time. Items will automatically expire after 21 days but you can return them early.

•             Thousands of best-selling adult and junior titles to choose from, with new titles added every month.

o                   Titles can be previewed and reserved if out on loan.  Look for the No Queue titles – they are always available – so no waiting.

•             TTRS is an online course that teaches touch-typing, reading and spelling.
