View or Search Planning Applications

You can now search planning applications online using the new Fingal Planning Portal at link below. We hope you enjoy using this new search facility and if you experience any issues please email us at [email protected]

If you were a registered user of the previous online planning portal, you will need to re-register in order to submit an observation/submission. All user information from the previous online portal is no longer in use, and in line with Data Protection legislation and in accordance with the most up-to-date LGMA National Retention Policy for Local Authority Records (Planning) has been deleted.

Please be advised that there are statutory procedures which Fingal County Council is required to follow when a planning application is lodged.  This means that planning documentation cannot be published on our website until these procedures have been completed so it may take several days from the receipt of an application before planning documents appear on our website.

Delays in publishing planning documentation to the website may also occur during periods of high volume and/or when large applications with a lot of documents are received.

We are conscious that delays in publishing documents to our website may affect you if you are making observations on planning applications. We try to publish documents to our website as soon as we can and we would like to advise that if the documents you’re looking for are not currently on our website that all applications are available to view in hard copy at our public counter Monday to Friday during office hours.

Please check back on our website regularly if you’re looking for planning documents as we will publish them to the web as soon as we can.

Planning applications are available to view, both online and at the planning counter in our office. All documents (with the exception of confidential information) submitted as part of a planning application are available for viewing by the public. Not all documents and plans for applications submitted before 2005  are available online.

If you have any difficulty viewing planning applications online or if you come across a file that is incomplete, please notify us by email [email protected]
