Ten: A visit To Blanchardstown/Castleknock areas

St Catherine's Park

The Blanchardstown/ Castleknock area has three waterways, the Tolka, the Royal Canal and the Liffey which is beautifully contained between steep wooded hills around the famous Strawberry Beds and St. Catherine’s Park.

Buildings of historic interest include Luttrellstown Castle, which was in ownership of the Guinness Family for generations, and the nearby Shackleton Mills, once owned by Ernest Shackleton the famous Antarctic Explorer.

For those interested in a touch of retail therapy the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre is a must.
