Join the Library

If you thought libraries were just books think again!

Your library card can be used at any branch library in the Republic of Ireland.

A maximum of 12 items in total may be borrowed.

How to join

You can also join in your local library. Please bring a valid photo ID and a current proof of address.

Membership is available for free to everyone.  

If you’re 15-17, you need a parent/guardian to sign your application form.

If you’re 12-14, your parent/guardian must be present with you in the library when signing your application form

Did you know that as well as relaxing and studying you can download an eBook, play a video game or borrow a DVD from your local library?

We also have lots of great events every week - from Movie Clubs to Coder Dojo Workshops.
