The Rush play day on the 11th June is part of the celebrations in Fingal for Cruinniú na nÓg and will focus on the joy of play and creativity and how to encourage this playfulness and creativity at the heart of our cities and towns.

Cruinniú na nÓg 2022 takes place this June 11th and to celebrate the importance of art in early childhood Fingal County Council, Draíocht and Creative Ireland are working with experienced art educators Anne Bradley and Anne Cradden to present Make Space - a visually rich, sensory play space for children and families.

Illustrator Chris Judge will connect with ten schools in county Fingal to deliver creative workshops based on a personal project he initiated during the pandemic.

Children and their carers are invited to explore and spend time together in this beautiful sensory play space for children of 3 years and up designed to explore a variety of materials (wood, stone, sand, mirrors, modelling clay, fabric) and processes (weaving, plaiting, drawing, making, arranging).
