Why the long Grass? Grass Cutting and Biodiversity in Fingal

The ‘Local Biodiversity Action Plan’ project was initiated by Fingal’s Biodiversity team in 2021.   The project is a collaboration between the Biodiversity team, Fingal Operations, Ecological consultants and the many Tidy Towns groups across the County of Fingal.

Fingal County Council has invited proposals from Artists, Creative Practitioners, Arts Organisations and Companies for the development and delivery of artistic activities and projects for children and/or young people for Cruinniú na nÓg 2022. Access to activities and projects will be free, local and interactive.

The Bealtaine Festival forms part of Ireland’s national celebration of the arts & creativity as we age and runs throughout the month of May. The Festival returns to Fingal library branches for the first time in 2 years after taking place solely as on online festival during 2020 & 2021.
