An application has been received by Coras Pipeline Services to temporarily close section of the R122 
St Margaret's Road from Thursday 13th August 2026 to Friday 14th August 2026 from 7am to 7pm. See 1st advert .

An application has been received from GMC Utilities on behalf of Uisce Éireann for permission to temporarily close a section of Strand Street, Townparks Skerries, Co. Dublin to facilitate a wastewater connection. It is proposed that the roads will be closed from the 4th of August until the 5th of August 2026 from 08:00hrs and 20:00hrs. Fingal County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to temporarily close various roads in Rush, 
Co. Dublin on behalf of Rush Community Council to facilitate the Fingal Air Display in Rush. It is

An application has been received from Dublin Marathon DAC for permission to temporarily close various roads in the Swords area for the purpose of holding the Irish Life Fingal 10K Run. Fingal County Council wishes to give notice that it intends to temporarily close a series of Non National Roads in the following locations:

L-5450 White Hart Road, Balbriggan

L-1270 Cross of The Cage, Skerries

L-10201 Newtown Lane, Garristown 

L-5055 Rappoly Road, Palmerstown

L-1015 Borranstown Road, Garristown

L-10653 Leastown Lane, Oldtown

L-1255 Church Road, Lusk

L-5355 Old Barrack Road, Rush

L-5115-0 Magilstown Road (also known as Balheary Road) 

L-2037-0 Windmill Road (also known as Balheary Avenue)

The closures are necessary to facilitate road resurfacing works being carried out by the Operations Department at various intervals between 2nd of July and 1st of December 2026. See 1st advert 2nd advert

An application has been received from Fingal County Council for permission to temporarily close the R127 Skerries (Balcunniun) to Lusk, Co. Dublin to facilitate the continuation and completion of road resurfacing of the R127. It is proposed that the roads will be closed from the 13th of July 2026 to the 31st of July 2026 from 7pm to 5am each night. See 1st advert, 2nd advert traffic management plan

An application has been received from ESB Networks for permission to temporarily close Windmill Lands, Swords, Co. Dublin for the purpose of ESB duct installation. It is proposed that the road will be closed from the 13th of July 2026 to 27th of July 2026 for 24 hours per day. See 1st advert, 2nd advert, traffic management plan

It is proposed that public roads in the Skerries area will be closed for the purpose of holding the Skerries 100 – Road Race. This will be on Saturday 4 July 2026 from 12pm to 8:30pm and Sunday 5 July 2026 from 8am to 6:30pm. See 1st advert, 2nd advert traffic plan 1

An application has been received from Castlethorn Construction for permission to temporarily close Porterstown Road, Clonsilla (L-3035-0) to facilitate essential road alignment works which is part of the planning conditions. Fingal County Council proposes to temporarily close Seatown Road from the Junction of St Columcille’s Drive/Seatown Road to the Junction of North Street/Seatown Road. (2 arms of St Columcille’s Drive/Seatown Road junction will be operational.) to facilitate construction of the Swords Cultural Quarter, Public Realm & Residential Development at Seatown,Co.Dublin. An application has been received from Triur Construction on behalf of Fingal County Council for permission to temporarily close L5166 Road, Jordanstown, Co. Dublin to facilitate bridge maintenance. An application has been received from Castlethorn Construction for permission to temporarily close

An application has been received from Fajon Construction for permission to temporarily close Station Road, Lusk, Co. Dublin to facilitate the installation of a storm water line.  It is proposed that the road will be closed from the 15 June 2026 to the 3 July 2026 for 24 hours. Fingal County Council proposes to close various roads in the Skerries area from 08.00am to 12.00pm on Sunday 12 July 2026 for the purpose of facilitating the bike course for the Skerries Triathlon. See 1st advert, 2nd advert traffic management plan

Fingal County Council has made an order to temporarily close Turvey Avenue, Donabate, Co. Dublin from the 2 June 2026 to 19 June 2026 for 24 hours for the purpose of facilitating road surfacing works. See 2nd advert, diversion routes.

Fingal would like to give notice that it has prepared Schemes for the provision of traffic calming measures at the following locations:

 

It is proposed, in the interest of road safety, to apply a road works speed limit of a 50km/h speed limit (from 60km/h) to facilitate the R132 Connectivity Project. The Road Works Speed Limit will be in effect from 1st March 2026 to 28th February 2027.  See Advert , Temporary Speed Limit Map and Site Plan

We are looking at the provision of traffic calming measures in Naul Village. The scheme would include ramps, road signage and road markings. You can see what's envisaged with Ad1 and Map1.
