Foundation stone laid for new Cultural Centre in Swords

The foundation stone for the new Cultural Centre within the Swords Cultural Quarter was laid today by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Brian McDonagh, and the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien.

Construction of new affordable homes continues transformation of Dublin 15 area

New show homes at one of Ireland’s largest affordable housing developments have been officially opened today, as the Mayor of Fingal was joined by the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage and the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth at the extensive Church Fields project underway in Mulhuddart.

RHA Tour of Flow by Vivienne Roche at County Hall, Swords

Fingal County Council was delighted to welcome artist Vivienne Roche to the Council Chamber, County Hall in Swords to provide a tour of her artwork Flow, (2002). This large-scale relief sculpture comprising of glass, plaster and bronze was commissioned by Fingal County Council as part of the construction of County Hall, which was designed by Bucholz McEvoy Architects.
