Heritage Week: Castleknock & Balbriggan Digital Trails Launch Monday August 14!
Fingal County Council are delighted to launch two new digital heritage trails as part of National Heritage Week.
Join us in the atrium in County Hall Swords at 11am on Monday 14th August where we will be officially launching the new trails for Balbriggan and Castleknock that will be available on the Dublin Discovery Trails app that is supported by Fáilte Ireland.
The trails use augmented reality, animation and narration to bring alive the heritage, stories and significant people of the past in these two locations.
Balbriggan and Castleknock have fascinating histories, cultures and points of significance that can now be explored by anyone with the Dublin Discovery App! The app will guide you on a journey of discovery to some of the city's most loved sites and attractions, enabling you to uncover compelling stories of Dublin's heritage through themed GPS-enabled walking trails.
