Fingal County Council has welcomed new funding announced by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD that will help develop outdoor amenities in the County.

The only course of its kind in Ireland, the Football and Fitness course provides TY students across Fingal with the opportunity to meet their educational requirements whilst also developing a whole range of football, fitness and life skills.

The Course is a joint collaboration between Fingal County Council and the Football Association of Ireland.

We are pleased to announce that all ten Fingal Library branches, and our Local Studies department, are now FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries. This means that researchers will be able to access digitized images from FamilySearch collections, that would otherwise be restricted. This service is available for free, while onsite at your local Fingal Library.

There was great fanfare in Millennium Park as the fully inclusive “We-Go-Swing” was officially opened by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Howard Mahony on Wednesday July 27th in the company of Chief Executive AnnMarie Farrelly.

This August Fingal County Council Environmental Awareness Department is providing 8 workshops with Mona McCrea Marine Biologist of ‘Explore the Seashore’, which people can attend to learn about the beach system, litter, marine plastics, ecology and climate change.

Rejuvenation and upgrade of Wellview Park and Public Realm at Wellview Green and Terrace, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15, and amendments of previously permitted north-south cycle and pedestrian route through Wellview Park as part of Church Fields Link Road and Cycle Network Project (FCC Planning Ref.
