This September Newbridge House on the 4th & 5th, and Catherine’s Park on 11th & 12th, will be transformed into a bustling summer festival site for all ages.  ‘Celebrate Fingal’ is free-to-attend to people who are residents of Fingal, but pre-registration for tickets was essential due to limited capacity and safety restrictions.

Irish Water is working with Fingal County Council to carry out essential maintenance on the water network in Sutton today, Thursday 02 September from 10am until 4pm and customers may experience some disruption to their supply.  

Fingal County Council Sports Office have launched a pilot 4 – week ParkFit Programme, starting the week of August 30th, in Balbriggan, Dublin 15 and Meakstown.

Fingal Libraries Write Time Festival was launched by the Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Seána Ó Rodaigh at Rush Library on Tuesday 31st of August.

Water Quality Management

ANCA is proceeding to undertake Appropriate Assessment in respect of a Noise Abatement Objective and Regulatory Decision arising from an assessment of the noise situation resulting from planning application F20A/0668.

Fingal’s Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has approved the allocation of over €152,000 to community and voluntary groups across the region under the 2021 Community Enhancement Programme.

The Green Flag, representing the Green Coast Award 2021, was raised on Rush South Beach today by Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Seána Ó Rodaigh. The prestigious Award, representing environmental excellence was won by the Beach for the first time in 2021.

A commemorative film Who Shot Sergeant Kirwan?  which re-enacts a major altercation in Ballyboughal in 1921 will be launched by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Seána Ó Rodaigh on Friday 27 August 2021 and public viewings will be held in Ballyboughal National School on Saturday and Sunday.
