The Slam Poetry Stage is back for Cruinniú Late at the We Own The Castle teen music festival in Swords Castle — and it’s bigger and better than ever! The Chapel venue within the castle grounds will be the setting for young poets to slam, rap, perform or read their work. 

We Own The Castle live teen music festival is an exciting, positive space for teens and their families, taking place in Swords Castle for Cruinniú na nÓg on Saturday, 6th June.

: Join the Wizard of Creation, Aga Hutcheson, in the Creation Zone at We Own The Castle live teen music festival for this wonderful hands-on workshop where you’ll craft a stunning festival flower crown using a selection of sustainable materials provided.

Garageland Galaxyz is thrilled to be back in Fingal for Cruinniú na nÓg 2026, bringing a tidal wave of youth-powered performances to this iconic venue! 

Fingal County Council welcomed European Commission Executive Vice-President for Cohesion and Reforms, Mr Raffaele Fitto, to view the development of the Swords Cultural Quarter projects. Mr. Fitto was greeted on arrival by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Tom O’Leary, and was given a guided tour of Swords Castle and the Carnegie Free Library, as well as the site of the €40m centre-piece of the Swords Cultural Quarter, Culture House.
