Wavin’ Words Youth Poetry Slam

The Slam Poetry Stage is back for Cruinniú Late at the We Own The Castle teen music festival in Swords Castle — and it’s bigger and better than ever! The Chapel venue within the castle grounds will be the setting for young poets to slam, rap, perform or read their work. This year’s programme features an exciting mix of poetry podcasting, live performance, open mic sessions, audience interaction, and book giveaways — there’s something poetry for everyone! Enjoy featured performances from Fingal's Cruinniú na nÓg Ambassador Yasmine Al Ja Afrehova and all Ireland Poetry Slam Champion Eva Mary Lucy. The Poetry's Dead Podcast will be recording live, with Sheila Ryder and Dave Hynes hosting and helping make the magic happen.
