Fingal County Council is offering residents of Fingal an amnesty when combustible materials (beds, sofas, wooden doors etc.) will be accepted free of charge at Fingal County Council’s Recycling Centres starting Wednesday 23rd until Thursday 31st October.

To celebrate World Book Day Ireland 2024, acclaimed children’s authors Alan Nolan, Sadhbh Devlin, Nicola Pierce, Ellen Ryan and Sarah Webb are visiting libraries and schools across Fingal between the 4th and 8th of March. 

All ten identified beaches, and the non-identified bathing water at Malahide (permanent red flag), met the standard of “excellent” water quality for the pre-season samples.  

Lifeguards are there to protect people at the beach. Please respect them and listen to instructions they give.
