The Safe Routes to School Programme was developed in partnership by the NTA and Green-Schools, An Taisce, in 2020, as a response to the need to support schools to increase walking and cycling to school. 

Explore the gentle art of painting on silk. Learn how to paint on 100% pure silk material using procion dyes and inks. Discover how to apply and fix the colours to create colourful vibrant pieces. Each participant will design their own unique silk fan to take home.

With the support of the Creative Ireland Programme and Fingal County Council, The Wizard of Creation, Aga Hutcheson, will run a series of Sustainable Arts and Crafts Workshops in Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home in Balbriggan, County Dublin. These Workshops will utilise recycled materials, promoting sustainability, recycling, and reusing. They will enable residents to explore their creativity, promoting positivity, giving motivation, and increasing social interaction.

Baldoyle Library has reopened to the public after substantial renovation works over the past months. The Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Brian McDonagh officially reopened the library on Friday May 23rd.  

The Fingal Athletics League Finals Day took place on 14th May, bringing together 2,500 enthusiastic young athletes from across the county for a day of energetic competition and celebration.
