Join our Fingal Heritage Officer Christine Baker on Tuesday March 24th in County Hall Swords at 7pm for the launch of what is an interesting and poignant book.

Secondary school students across Fingal are using creativity and storytelling to explore environmental issues as part of the Rubbish Film Festival, an all-Ireland initiative that challenges young people to respond to the climate crisis through short films.

Fingal County Council has appointed Murphy as the contractor for the R132 Connectivity Project in Swords and signed the multi-million contract today at County Hall.  The major project is being funded by the National Transport Authority.

Ceol, Craic and Gaeilge from 7 to 9pm, the entertainment will be provided by four hugely accomplished musicians, Éamonn de Barra, Paudie O’Connor, and Aoife Ní Chaoimh.

More than 300 girls from secondary and community schools across Fingal have taken part in the annual HerMoves Exercise: Energise Multi Sports and Activity Day at the National Indoor Arena, Abbotstown. The event was part of Women in Sport Week 2026.
