Creative Fingal is delighted to have secured €303,750 in funding for two initiatives through the Creative Health and Wellbeing in the Community 2026–2028 scheme.  This funding will support 28 projects nationally, including 16 North–South collaborations under the Shared Island Initiative. Fingal County Council Arts Office is delighted to present  a new public artwork by Irish Artist John Kindness, titled ‘Harry’s Wall’ located on Harry Reynold’s Road (Hampton Woods), Balbriggan. 

The Finance (Local Property Tax) Act 2012 (as amended) makes specific provision that elected members of a local authority may pass a formal resolution to vary the basic rate of the Local Property Tax for their administrative area by a percentage known as the local adjustment factor. The Council will meet to consider the setting of a Local Adjustment Factor for 2027. Members must decide whether to retain the variation agreed in 2025, agree an alternative variation, or apply no variation.

Fingal County Council has announced that construction of Safe Routes to School (SRTS) improvements at St Colmcille’s National School in Swords will commence in the coming weeks, with mobilisation scheduled for early July.
