On Monday 24th of February, Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD announced over €14 million in funding to deliver 185 community projects across the country as part of the Community Recognition Fund 2024. Sustainable Arts and Crafts Workshops with The Wizard of Creation
With the support of the Creative Ireland Programme and Fingal County Council, The Wizard of Creation, Aga Hutcheson, will run a series of Sustainable Arts and Crafts Workshops in Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home in Balbriggan, County Dublin. These Workshops will utilise recycled materials, promoting sustainability, recycling, and reusing. They will enable residents to explore their creativity, promoting positivity, giving motivation, and increasing social interaction.
