Fingal County Council has launched its draft Tree Strategy entitled “Forest of Fingal, A Tree Strategy for Fingal – Draft Document” . See information on the online consultation and information sessions.

The arts office are seeking proposals from artists which will reflect on the themes, activities and characters that feature in the Fingal experience of 1916. We are accepting proposals from all art-forms and artists working in all media. The budget is €35,000 and will take the form of a two stage competition, Stage 1 will assess initial proposals for shortlist and Stage 2 will invite shortlisted artists to develop a more detailed proposal.The Commemorations Committee will be available to interested artists who want to research the theme further and production support is available from Fingal Arts Office.
