The launch of the Marathonkids Ireland 2021 Programme took place on Wednesday, September 8th at Morton Stadium in Santry.

Irish Water and Fingal County Council are working to restore the water supply following a second water mains burst in the area.

On Monday 13th September 2021, Eamon Ryan TD, Minister for the Environment, Climate & Communications and Minister for Transport, will officially launch Dublin’s first Climate Action Week, taking place from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th September. The launch will also be attended by the Mayors and Chief Executives of the four Dublin local authorities.

The fifth annual Fingal Festival of History was launched by the Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Seána Ó Rodaigh on Tuesday 14th September and will take place online on the Fingal Libraries YouTube channel and social media platforms from September 25th to October 2nd.  

Fingal County Council is taking part in a 5-stage plan to become sustainable and take action against the effects of Climate Change.

Ireland’s 13th annual Bike Week takes place from September 12th to 18th 2021. Throughout Bike Week, Fingal County Council will host a series of exciting events catering to all levels of cycling ability and experience.
