TIER announces Fingal shared e-bike fleet expansion and 2,500 hours cycled milestone
120 new TIER e-bikes will be deployed by the end of November across Fingal's shared e-bike scheme. The new deployment will bring the total number of e-bikes in the TIER fleet to over 300.

Halloween Amnesty: Dispose of Combustible Waste for Free 2021
Fingal County Council’s Recycling Centres, in Estuary Swords and Coolmine, will be accepting combustible materials ONLY free of charge from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 30th October. It should be NOTED the last entry to the Recycling Centres between these dates will be no later than one hour before closing time due to the large volume of vehicles anticipated.
Fingal County Council congratulates Tidy Towns Groups on another successful year in 2022
As the Tidy Towns results were announced Fingal County Council took the opportunity to thank all the wonderful Tidy Towns Committees in Fingal and their volunteers for the fantastic work they do to enhance our towns & villages. It was another very successful year for Fingal with Gold, Silver and special award winners and increased points for all groups.

Councillors agree Council budget of €333m for 2023
After a marathon 10-hour meeting Councillors last night agreed Fingal County Council’s 2023 budget of €333m which is an 11% increase on last year.
Fingal Libraries marks the donation of 100 Ukrainian language books for Children
Fingal County Council Libraries Department is delighted to receive a very special donation of 100 children’s books written in the Ukrainian language. The books, suitable for children aged from 0 to 15 years, will be available to borrow from any Fingal Library and it is hoped that they will provide much comfort and joy to Ukrainian Children and their families during their stay in Ireland.
