Iconic Swords Castle hosts Ukrainian family fun day

Fingal celebrated a wonderful day of Ukrainian poetry, dance and music as Swords Castle played host to a special Family Fun Day that recognised the strong relationships fostered over the past six months between the residents in Fingal and Ukrainians who have arrived in the County since the beginning of the armed conflict.

Welcome to Fingal’s sixth annual Festival of History which will run from Monday 10th to Saturday 15th October 2022 across a number of Fingal branches, and Swords Castle. After two years of online talks and events we can finally welcome back live audiences. Our programme this year is a celebration of the abundance of historians who live within Fingal and who have researched numerous facets of Fingal life.
