Balbriggan Football club delivered in hosting the second Prosper Fingal blitz event Tuesday March 15th with teams from Prosper Skerries, Prosper Swords, Prosper Balbriggan and a combined Prosper team from Howth represented by league of Ireland club Shelbourne.

As part of the implementation of the Fingal Skills Strategy, a survey of construction companies in the county was undertaken to determine the training and upskilling needs of the sector in 2022.

A wonderful evening of music song and Comhrá as Gaeilge was enjoyed in County Hall Swords to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge with Antaine Ó Faracháin and Nollaig MacCarthaigh.

Free native trees will be given out to households in Fingal to plant in their own backyard in an effort to help increase the amount of tree cover in the County.

Angela Donnelly of Sinn Féin has been co-opted by the members of Fingal County Council to replace Cllr Aaron O’Rourke who resigned as a councillor due to time pressure. She will represent the Ongar Local Electoral Area.

On the 15th March 2022, Fingal County Council turned the sod on the refurbishment of and extension to Skerries library.

Fingal County Council is to hold a series of public consultation events to promote a greater understanding of the Draft Development Plan 2023-2029.
