Christmas Day may still be four weeks away, but Fingal has already begun to roll out lots for people to do across the County for the 2024 festive season.
Fingal has collaborated with international wildfire experts, Dublin Fire Brigade and local community groups to develop a proactive wildfire management strategy at Howth.
Last week the 2024 Marathonkids Dublin Final Mile event took place at Morton Stadium on Tuesday, November 12th, and Wednesday, November 13th. Over 4,000 students from more than 70 schools across Fingal and Dublin City gathered to mark the completion of their Marathonkids challenge.

For 2025, The Historic Structures Fund will offer grants from €50,000 up to €200,000 only, and focus on larger enhancement, refurbishment or reuse projects involving heritage structures - deadline January 17, 2025
Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan, Minister of State James Lawless and the National Transport Authority (NTA) announced that an additional 7 Fingal schools will benefit from Round 3 of the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) programme.
