Free native trees will be given out to households in Fingal to plant in their own backyard in an effort to help increase the amount of tree cover in the County.

Representatives from nine towns and cities across the EU visited Balbriggan last week to learn about the progress of the Our Balbriggan Rejuvenation Plan.

With the much-awaited return of St. Patrick’s Day parades to take place across Fingal on Thursday, people across the county will be out in force to celebrate all things Irish.

To expedite the completion of the construction phase of the All Weather Facilities and Car Park at the Ward River Valley Regional Park, Swords, the construction site working hours will be extended from Monday the 21st of March. 

Angela Donnelly of Sinn Féin has been co-opted by the members of Fingal County Council to replace Cllr Aaron O’Rourke who resigned as a councillor due to time pressure. She will represent the Ongar Local Electoral Area.
