Vintage Picnic, a musical festival with physical and creative activities for over 55s, is back for it's third year in Swords Castle on Thursday, 5th June! This collaborative event involves Fingal's Community, Communications, Events, Libraries, Healthy Ireland, Sports, and Operations Departments and is supported by Creative Ireland. 

Age-friendly Fingal will be hosting an information event and fashion show for over 55s in the Pavilions Shopping Centre, Swords on Tuesday, 30th September; Time: 10.30 am-12.30 pm

Get ready for a day full of wonder and imagination! Fingal Libraries proudly presents the FOURTH edition of The Magic of Stories, a spectacular celebration of books, stories, and creativity – all happening at the enchanting Swords Castle on Saturday, 27th September! 

For Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, children’s author and illustrator Chris Judge (The Lonely Beast, The Great Explorer, Evil Duck and the Feather of Fortune) is collaborating with four primary schools across Swords and Malahide to create an artistic vision of what Fingal, and the world, will look like twenty years from now.
