Fingal Sports Office and enthusiastic participants were delighted that the Fingal and East Meath Pitch & Putt Championship was able to go ahead in 2020. The competition took place over three evenings in late August and September on the Pitch & Putt Courses of Ballyboughal, Bellewstown and Ringcommons. 

Supported by Fingal County Council Sports Office three free Online Live Hip Hop Classes will be broadcast to devices across Fingal on September 15th, 22nd and 29th.

Fingal County Council, in partnership with the FAI, hosted its first Walking Football Festival of the new year in the new state of the art pitch at the National Sports Campus Indoor Arena in Abbottstown.

Fingal County Council has awarded over €95,000 to 91 sports clubs throughout Fingal under the Youth Sports Grants Scheme.

Fingal Sports Office’s Exercise Energise Multi-Sports Day was launched on September 24 in the National Indoor Athletics Arena. The Mayor Cllr Eoghan O’Brien, Fingal County Council Senior Executive Officer, Íde De Bairtiseil and 2018 Women’s World Boxing Champion Kellie Harrington were in attendance.
