A badminton coach visited Bracken ETNS and Scoil Chormaic CNS for four weeks and all students then attended a final blitz which was held in Castleland Community Centre on the final week. The students who took part were 5th and 6th class pupils.

LEO Fingal has confirmed that Ciaran Brennan from Ground Up Software Ltd. T/A “Livecosts.com” in Blanchardstown has clinched a place in the national final of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur competition.

The Fingal Fieldnames Project, now in its second year, focuses on empowering communities to ensure the survival of a vital part of our heritage and culture. It aims to help participants record, log and understand fieldnames in their area.

The Annual IPB Pride of Place competition is about to kick off in earnest and Fingal will be represented this year by the communities of Whitestown in Dublin15 and Flemington in Balbriggan, and the Hide Sculpture project at Rogerstown in North County Dublin.

The Urban Food and Craft Market began last week in St. Catherine’s Park, Lucan, and will run every Sunday from 10am – 5pm now until October. 

The Dublin Plein Air Painting Festival is supported by Fingal County Council and will bring art to all corners of the county with Farmleigh House, Swords Castle, Skerries Harbour, Malahide Castle & Gardens, The 12th Lock Royal Canal, Donabate Beach and Balbriggan Harbour being the venues for this year’s event.
