The African Scholars Association of Ireland (AFSAI) is partnering with the Irish Institute of Music and Song (IIMS) to host a series of events in October and November 2024. These events are designed to foster creativity, promote migrant well-being, and encourage community integration. Through these activities, participants will gain access to opportunities for exploring individual and group creative expressions, with a particular focus on African cultural heritage.  

The Safe Routes to School Programme was developed in partnership by the NTA and Green-Schools, An Taisce, in 2020, as a response to the need to support schools to increase walking and cycling to school.

Baldoyle Library has reopened to the public after substantial renovation works over the past months. The Mayor of Fingal Cllr. Brian McDonagh officially reopened the library on Friday May 23rd.  

The Fingal Athletics League Finals Day took place on 14th May, bringing together 2,500 enthusiastic young athletes from across the county for a day of energetic competition and celebration. 

The Indoor Arena at the National Sports Campus in Dublin 15 played host to an exciting table cricket competition for adults with additional needs, bringing together participants from Avista Adult Day Service Hubs across the Fingal region. 

‘Scríobhtar é sna Carraigeacha / It’s Written in the Rocks’ marked the conclusion of his residency that enabled him to reflect on climate change,  biodiversity and the coastal habitats of the area.
