Fingal Arts Office has presented a very special showcase of work developed as part of a ground-breaking initiative with Irish Aphasia Theatre (IAT).

There has been huge progress on the plan, which has been shaped by the views of the people of the town, according to the Balbriggan Leadership Group. The Leadership Group, chaired by Professor Brian MacCraith, President, Dublin City University, was established to prepare ambitious plans for the area with actions that can be delivered upon.

The Balbriggan Community Liaison Committee hosted the Balbriggan Town Awards on Thursday 5th December 2019 in the Bracken Court Hotel.  The Town Awards which were traditionally hosted by Balbriggan Town Council have been a great success over the years and have had the support of the wider community.  

Fingal County Council’s Operations department has participated in a cross-community initiative in Blanchardstown that saw 20 trees planted in Corduff Park.

Rich with history and natural vistas, Balbriggan beach is an ideal walking spot. Beyond the Martello Tower, heading further north you will see the imposing structure of Bremore Castle on your left.

Children from 3rd class in Balbriggan Educate Together National School and Bracken Educate Together National School took part in the annual Big Sports Quiz in Balbriggan Library on Wednesday 11th December.
