If you've always wanted to learn how to take better pictures, now is your chance. Barry from Fingal Libraries has created a 3-part photography series covering the exposure triangle, composition, and light.

Though the physical libraries are closed, storytime is still taking place virtually. Spring Into Storytime is a national initiative that takes place during the months of April and May 2020 and celebrates the importance of sharing stories and reading together as a family. Stories are read both by library staff and by Irish authors and can be found on Fingal Libraries' YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_6CWbONIz0-YxDP1aTnGiA

For Earth Day on April 22nd, Fingal Libraries created two craft videos. They're a great way for kids to use recycled items from around the house to stay busy. 

As part of Healthy Ireland At Your Library, Enda from Fingal Libraries shares a Kundalini yoga meditation for a calm heart. Enda recently trained as a Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher, and she hopes this video will help calm your mind in these stressful times.

#IrelandPerforms is a short-term fund to support online performances by artists during the COVID-19 pandemic. Events are all streamed through the artist’s social media channels and will also be carried on Culture Ireland’s Facebook page For a list of upcoming performances see https://events.cultureireland.ie/events/

Fingal County Council is delighted to announce the launch of Cycling Without Age Fingal, which officially began with a celebratory cycle at St. Catherine’s Park, Lucan on Wednesday, 18 May.
