Fingal Libraries present three poets, Alice Lyons, Catherine Walsh and Christodoulos Makris whose work explores the contemporary world in unusual ways. Fingal County Council is delighted to announce news of a new public artwork for Balbriggan. The work titled “Wish you Were Here” by local artist Dave West has now been installed at the prominent Banks site at Balbriggan Harbour and was officially launched by Mayor of Fingal Cllr Howard Mahony on Tuesday 14, February.

Fingal County Council has been advised by Meath County Council that they are currently carrying repairs to Fieldstown bridge. On Monday Meath County Council will need to close the R125 to facilitate repairs to Donaghmore Bridge due to collision damage. Donaghamore Bridge Closure Diversion Route Fingal County Council has been advised the closure is from Monday 20th February to Friday 24th February next week.  

Fingal County Council are proud to bring Shine A Light for Women to Dublin 15 this International Women’s Day, March 8th 2023. This is the second year of this initiative, which sees our Sports Office joining together with the Community Office in delivering this important awareness event. The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘Embracing Equity.’
