Fingal County Council and the Old Irish Goat Society are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the Howth Head Kid Goat Naming Competition. After weeks of anticipation and an exciting public voting phase, a name has been chosen with over 1,000 voting responses. Talún has emerged as the name the public is in favor.

Fingal has a new leader after Cllr Adrian Henchy (Fianna Fáil) was elected by fellow Councillors today to become the region’s 18th Mayor.

Fingal County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Government Act 2001 as extended by Section 89 of the HARBOURS ACT 1996 hereby gives notice that it proposes to adopt Fingal County Council Harbour Bye-Laws 2023.
