Fingal County Council and Creative Ireland are bringing all the buzz of a summer festival to the front door of diverse communities across Fingal with a 6-day, 12-stop tour of the county featuring music, dance, spoken word, and more over the two weekends, 20-29 June 2025

All ten identified beaches, and the non-identified bathing water at Malahide (permanent red flag), met the standard of “excellent” water quality for the June 9th and 16th (Balbriggan) samples.  

A Prior Warning Notice has been issued for Velvet Strand, Portmarnock. Bathers are advised of the possibility of an increase in the levels of bacteria in the bathing water over the coming days due to expected heavy rainfall.
