Excellent Standard in Latest Bathing Water Quality Results

All ten identified beaches, and the non-identified bathing water at Malahide (permanent red flag), met the standard of “excellent” water quality for the June 9th samples.
The bathing water quality result collected on 16th June, 2025 at Balbriggan has met the standard of “excellent”. Next sample collection is planned for 23rd June (Balbriggan to Donabate beaches) and 24th June (Malahide to Claremont beach, Howth).

Members of the public can check for water quality at any of the monitored bathing waters in Ireland in advance by accessing the EPA website at www.beaches.ie or by checking the notice board at the entrance to each beach.
